...something I came across watching BETJ the other night: Bernard Oyama, the Haberdasher of Harlem. Oyama is the connoisseur of one of the finest quality men’s and women’s apparel and accessories stores in the heart of Harlem. The gallery like interior, with wood floors, walls lined with mirrors and black and white photographs of Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, & Nat King Cole remixing a new Renaissance. This haberdashery is Harlem’s premiere place for luxury suits, shirts, ties, slacks, cuff-links, and sweaters from the B. Oyama Collection. 2330 7th Avenue, (between 136th and 137th Streets), 212.234.5128. Check him out @ http://www.boyamanyc.com/Peep the Jay-Z video for 'Change Clothes' too! Classic!
